Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - South Kalimantan Provincial Government together with local government of Kotabaru and Tanah Bumbu District signed a Memorandum of Understanding on mega projects bridge connecting the Pulau Laut Kotabaru with the mainland of Kalimantan.
The signing of the MoU took place in the office of the Governor, each represented by heads of regions, namely the Vice Governor, Regent Kotabaru accompanied by Chairman of the assembly and Regent Tanah Bumbu with ranks.
Chairman of the Kotabaru's DPRD Hj Alfisah here on Friday welcomed the progress, which means the plan to build the longest bridge in Kalimantan even in Indonesia as long has been society's dream come true immediately.
"With the signing of this MoU, all involved parties have agreed the following responsibilities related to funding, the bridge construction plans ready to be implemented," said Alfisah.
MoU, she said, will be followed up by a meeting of all parties to discuss the technical sharing costs between the central government, provincial government, local government Kotabaru and Tanah Bumbu.
While meeting with the central government planned, then in the technical area has also been made by the team, including the determination of the point of the bridge pylon stake.
"Of the three alternative discourse, eventually converging on a point that is the most realistic Tanjung Serdang district, Sub-district of Middle Pulaulaut and the area of ​​Tanah Merah in Batulicin," she explained.
