Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded South Kalimantan export value in November 2020 reached US$507.05 million or increased by 43.21 percent compared to October 2020 which was US$354,06 million.
"The most exported goods was the mineral fuel group worth US$332,39 million with the largest export destination country was China with a value of US$163.35 million," said Head of South Kalimantan BPS M Edy Mahmud, Monday.
The second place was the animal/vegetable fats oil group which contributed US$127,42 million to export or increased by 198.70 percent.
Then the third place was the group of wood, wood good (HS 44) worth US$22,01 million rose by 32.36 percent.
Meanwhile, South Kalimantan booked an import worth US$28.22 million in November 2020 downed by 15.89 percent compared to October which was US$33.56 million. Compared to November 2019 it fell 71.73 percent.
The most imported commodity based on H2 digits was the group of mineral fuel worth US$23,46 million and the country of origin for the largest import was Malaysia with a value of US$16,65 million.
Three group of goods with the highest import entering South Kalimantan were the mineral fuel group (HS 27) worth US$23,46 million followed by the group of mechanical aircraft engine (HS 84) worth US$2,44 million, and the various chemical products group (HS 38) worth US$0,60 million.
"The South Kalimantan trade balance was also encouraging with a surplus of US$478,82 million in November 2020," said Mahmud in a monthly press conference held virtually at the South Kalimantan BPS Office in Banjarbaru.
