"These medical doctors who had undergone the internship at the hospital come from medical faculties in Indonesia, including Jakarta, Bali, Central Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, Yogyakarta, and Banjarmasin," said the regent in Batulicin, Saturday.
In their duties they were divided into community health center Puskesmas Perawatan Pagaran and the Tanah Bumbu District Hospital from October 2019 to August 10, 2020.
On behalf of the local government, the regent gave a high appreciation for the dedication of internship doctors.

The local government always opens the door for the internship doctors who later want to come back and serve in Tanah Bumbu.
The regent hopes that there will be inputs that will lead to improving service for hospitals and community health centers. According to regent, the ultimate goal is to accelerate the improvement of health services.
Doctor Ihsan, who represented the medical intern, expressed gratitude for the welcome by the local government, the warmth and family attitude the have felt so far has been a very valuable experience.
According to him, the most interesting experience while serving in Tanah Bumbu was handling patients who were quarantined due to COVID-19.
"I represent all internship doctors apologize if during our duties in Tanah Bumbu in providing health service leaves an unpleasant impression," he concluded.
