Pertamina guarantees a sufficient supply of fuel in South Kalimantan amid the pendemic of coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
"Fuel supply for South Kalimantan is running normally," Pertamina's Kalimantan Community, Relation & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Region Manager Roberth Marchelino Verieza noted here, Wednesday (Apr 1, 2020).
Until the end of March, the average daily consumption of gasoline in the province was 1.777 KL/day and 631 KL/day for gasoil.
As for the city of Banjarmasin alone, the average gasoline consumption was 321 KL/day and gasoil 125 KL/day.
"LPG stock is also safe, the average consumption of 3 Kg LPG is 282 metrik ton/day for South Kalimantan and 57 metrik ton/day for Banjarmasin,” Roberth said through a press-release.
In facing the outbreak of COVID-19, Pertamina appealed to the public not to panic and suggested to use noncash transactions and always maintain personal health, including by wearing masks..
Pertamina also provides sanitation facilities t the gas stations (SPBU) in the form of washing hand facilities, hand sanitizers, and gas station operators have used masks and gloves.
In running operational wheels, he added, Pertamina always ensure that fuel and LPH needs can be met.
