Martapura, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Banjar District Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Andri Koko Prabowo together with all of his ranks planted various trees as a form of their care of environment and to greening the area.
"Tree planting is carried out together by all Banjar Police personnel and simultaneouly with police precincts," Andri Koko remarked after planting tree at the Banjar Police headquarters here, Friday (Jan 3, 2020).
He said, the tree planting was a form of togetherness and mutual concern for natural environment and surroundings. Among planted trees were of fruits, such as rambutan, orange, guava, mango, and others.
"The number of trees planted as many as 1,310 from various type, especially fruits, so beside to functioning as greening it can be enjoyed when later they bear fruits," Andri Koko, who was accompanied by Deputy Police Chief Handoyo, pointed out.

According to him, the planting will later be continued with plant care, until they flourish and bear fruit.
"Maybe we will not enjoy them, but our children and grandchildren. For sure now we are doing good things for the environment and the results to be enjoyed by future generation," he said.
