Martapura, S Kalimatan (ANTARA) - The District Government of Banjar, South Kalimantan, supports food security program, carried out in all regions, in accordance with policies implemented by the Presiden of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto.
Acting Banjar Regent Akhmad Fydayeen in Martapura on Wednesday said his party really support the activities conducted by the National Police and has full support of TNI.
"The district government fully support food security program to regain food self-sufficiency in Indonesia, supporting President Prabowo Subiyanto's Asta Cita mission," said Fydayeen.

The food security task force was launched by Chief of the National Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and Commander of the Indonesian Defense Forces (TNI) General Agus Subiyanto in Bulang Village, Prambon Sub-district, Sidoarjo District, East Java, Wednesday.
while in South Kalimantan, it was attended by acting Governor and South Kalimantan Chief of Police Inspector General Winarto together with Banjar Police Chief AKBP Ifan Hariyat, Commander of 1006/Banjar Military Command Lt. Col. Cav. Zulkifer Sembiring and invitees.
South Kalimantan Chief of Police via virtual channel in PKK Garden, Indrasari Village, Martapura, said the actvity carried out was jointy planting corn seeds.
"Besides Martapura, the activity are also carried out in a number of areas in South Kalimantan, including Tanah Laut District which has quite large plantation, so in the future more land will be planted," he said.
In addition to corn seeds, cassava and soybeans are also planted with a target of harvesting as much as possible from a planted area of 161 hectares.
"We hope, the land to increase and the plan is to collaborate with Land Bank, Forestry Agency, related parties and agencies, so that additional area can be realizaed," he said.
