Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Board (BPH Migas) has set the quota of subsidized fuel oil for 2020 at 15.87 million kiloliters (MKL), up 5.03 percent from a year earlier. The quota comprised 15.31 MKL of diesel oil and 560 thousand KL of kerosene. The quota had been endorsed based on the financial notes to the draft 2020 state budget, BPH Migas Chief Fanshurullah Asa said Monday.
"The two corporate bodies that will receive the quota of subsidized fuel oil in 2020 will be PT Pertamina with 15.636 MKL and PT AKR Corporindo with 234,000 KL," he said.
PT Pertamina's quota of subsidized fuel oil comprised 15.31 MKL of diesel oil and 560 thousand KL of kerosene, while PT AKR Corporindo will only receive 234 thousand KL of diesel oil, he said.
BPH Migas also set the quota of subsidized Premium-branded gasoline for 2020 at 11 MKL for Pertamina. The volume remains unchanged compared to the 2018 quota.
To distribute the subsidized fuel oil, Pertamina currently has 5,726 distributors, 13 on progress distributors and 160 single price fuel oil distributors across the country. Meanwhile, PT AKR Corporindo Tbk has 112 distributors and 10 single price fuel oil distributors.
To distribute subsidized Premium-branded gasoline, Pertamina has 4,670 distributors, 13 on progress distributors and 151 single price fuel oil distributors.
