Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - The government has eliminated 838 temporary direct cash assistance (BLSM) recipients in Banjarmasin for the reason they were not eligible.
Head of Banjarmasin Post Office Edy Suharto here on Wednesday said, recipient data repaired on the second phase of the BLSM distribution this week. "The result is 838 receivers are replaced with other more deserving recipients," he said.
The elimination of 838 recipients partly because the recipient had died, moved away, rich, civil servants and some other reasons, so that they do not deserve to get BLSM.
BLSM distribution of the third day, added Suharto, distributed to 1,468 recipients from two villages in the city of Banjarmasin.
The second phase of government relief program --as form of compensation of fuel price hike-- greeted by residents with quite excited, because it coincided with soaring various basic needs caused by a weakening rupiah against dollar.
Soaring prices of basic necessities also caused by delays in the distribution from Java to South Kalimantan due to bad weather since the past few days. *** ***
