Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Banjarbaru City Government has again won the proud achievement of the national level after it was aawarded with the 2019 Wahana Tata Nugraha award for its seriousness and consistency in the transportation sector.
The third WTN award for the City of Banjarbaru was handed over by the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi in Jakarta on Sunday to the Mayor of Banjarbaru Nadjmi Adhani.
"We are proud of the national level awards that Banjarbaru received again while at the same time appreciating the Transportation Ministryfor this award for a third time," said the mayor.

He also thanked all parties involved and synergized in providing the best service in the field of transportation in the city whose nickname Idaman (an acronym of indah, damai, aman dan nyaman means beautiful, peaceful, safe and comfortable).
"We hope this award will be a cause to add motivation to all relevant agencies in providing the best service to the community and correcting deficiencies," he said.
Wahana Tata Nugraha is an award from the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to provinces, cities and districts that have seriousness and consistency in developing the transportation sector.
This development includes efforts to arrange public transportation well, sustainably, and based on public interests and environmentally friendly arrangements so as to provide comfort.
The WTN 2019 award is the third time has been received by the Banjarbaru City Government after 2015 and 2016, while in 2017 and 2018 the assessment format has been changed to biennial.
