With that mainstay, Banjarmasin offered to some of the major ministries to be designated as eleventh Bali in Indonesia, said Mayor Ibn Sina during a dialogue on Siring tourism destinations at Anno House on Monday night.
"Some time ago the President has set 10 new Bali. So, the city of Banjarmasin proposed to several ministers to become eleventh Bali. The most beautiful river in Indonesia is only in the city of Banjarmasin," said the mayor as a resource person in a discussion about rearranging Siring Tendean in Banjarmasin City.
The activity at the Anno House cafe was attended by a number of officials from relevant agencies within the City Government of Banjarmasin, including the Culture and Tourism Office, the Transportation Agency, the Satpol PP Office, the Environment Office, and the Commission II DPRD.
In the discussion discussed about the management of street vendors, cleanliness, facilities and parking arrangements and how to change the stigma of the community in order to have a mindset about order, and a culture of cleanliness in supporting tourism.
