Adaro briefed nine regional envoy scholarship (BUD) recipients to be ready for challanges of studying in college. 
 
"This scholarship is a "golden ticket" that provides a releive from financial burden, such as tuition fee and living costs, so they focus on studying," said Adaro's CSR Section Head Aan Nurhadi here Tuesday. 

According to him, it's not only about financial assistance, but an opportunity to realize their dream to be part of Banua (the regional) superior generation.
 
This year's BUD recipients for the Veteran Yogyakarta National Development University (UPN) are nine, the highest number since Adaro's collaboration with the university.

In the briefing, the scholarship recipient were asked to be focused on studying without having to think about costs.

Adaro presented Egat International representatives from Thailand related to international exchange study opportunities which are expected to have a positive impact on students.

"Take every chance to learn and develop,” said Adaro CSR Supervisor Herman Baihaqi.

In turn, scholarship recipients can return to their area of origin to make a real contribution to Banua (the region).
 
One of BUD UPN Veteran Yogyakarta alumni, Iqbal, shared experiences from choosing friends wisely to the importance of participating in non-academic activities to extend talents and expand relationships.
 
Thwe recipients expressed their gratitude for being able to study at UPN Yogyakarta with financial support and mentoring from Adaro.

"I am very happy to receive this scholarship and obsessed of being able to work in the mining field," said Patrik Weda, a student majoring in Mining Engineering.

The regional envoy scholarship includes tuition fees, building and dormitory fees, as well as living cost allowance, thesis fees, and BPJS Health fees.
