The City Governmet of Banjarmasin has been declared with the high rate of compliance with public service standards by the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia.
"Banjarmasin government wins a score of 83.98 from the Ombudsman," said Assistant 1 for Government and People's Welfare of the Banjarmasin City Government Dr Machli Riyadi after receiving the award at the Galaxy Hotel Banjarmasin, Thursday.
According to him, 51 administrative service products at the Banjarmasin City Government were declared with high compliance and were in the green zone on the assessment standards.
"Of course this is a spirit for us at the moment of the bestowal of the green predicate given to Banjarmasin City for compliance with public service," he said.
The high rate compliance, he said, cannot be separated from the participation of the residents of the city who always provide criticism and suggestion for a better service process.
The Ombudsman stated that the purpose of the assessment is to improve the quality of public services and prevent maladministration by encouraging the compliance of the public service officials to meet the public service standards as mandated by Law No. 25 of 2009.
