The South Kalimantan Transportation Agency is committed to free the roads in the province from vehicles that exceed the load for safety riding and save the road from a quick damage.
Head of the agency Rusdiansyah here on Wednesday said that to realize the commitment now the agency together with all related team are aggresively carryng out enforcement.
"Now officers continue to curb overdimension and overload (ODOL) trucks," he said.
Not only on the road, the control is also carried out when vehicles update KIR (roadworthiness test).
"If we find ODOL during the raid, we immediately cut the truckbed according to the origin capacity," he said.
Rusdiansyah said that the agency targets that South Kalimantan to be of ODOL transportation by 2023.
Previously, Secretary-General of the Central Executive Board (DPP) of Land Transport Organization (Organda) Ateng Haryono at the 8th regional meeting of South Kalimantan's organda stated he supported the South Kalimantan government's commitment.
"One thousand percent we agree with the government's commitment to zero ODOL, and this must be realized immediately," he said.
