Barabai, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Tens of thousands of tourists crowded a number of tourist attraction in Hulu Sungai Tengah (HST) District, South Kalimatan, during the 1446 Hijriah Eid holiday.
Until Sunday, the most visited tourist attraction were in Batu Benawa and Hantakan Sub-districts, they were Pagar Batu Benawa, Limbuhang Cave, Riam Bajandik, Pulau Mas, Manggasang to Meratus River Tubing in Alat Village.
Likewise in Batang Alai Timur Sub-district, including Nateh Nature Tourism, Riam Alai Rafting, Rampah Tumaung Waterfall, Sungai Karuh Waterfall, to Halau-Halau Big Mount and a number of other attractions.
"Since Eid al-Fitr until today, visitors to Riam Bajandik Batu Benawa are estimated to have reached more than 10 thousand," said Riam Bajandik village-owned enterprise (BUMDes) Chairman Ridwan.
Even though water condition sometimes change to cloudy-clear, the attraction which managed by the Baru Riam Bajandik BUMDes remains crowded, either to enjoy the natural atmosphere, hunt for a culinary delights or just have coffee.
This attraction offers water rides with a beautiful views on river flow, river tubing, photo services, various gazebos, souvenirs and various other facilities.
Around the location there are culinary tour of BFC and Kopi Riam, adding to the attraction for visitors to fill their stomachs or just enjoy nature.
"It is estimated that visitors to the attraction will be crowded until Monday tomorrow, because it is still Eid holiday," he said.
Meanwhile, Head of HST Youth, Sports and Tourism Office (Diasporapar) Muhammad Ramadlan appealed to all attraction managers to conduct routine supervision in the tourism area.
Especially in river attraction, he said, it is hoped that managers and parents to closely keep their eye on children while they are on water.
"We hope that every attraction managers to have a tourist attraction SOP, such as water depth markers, safety officers, and safety procedures," he expounded.
On the other hand, TNI-Polri, Health Agency and other stakeholders also continue to conduct security and service patrol in a number of tourist spots to ensure safety and comfort of visitors.
