Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - South Kalimantan Governor H Sahbirin Noor responded quickly to community complaints regarding the Sungai Lulut bridges, which were in poor condition.
According to the Governor (popularly called Uncle Birin), the existence of a bridge connecting the City of Banjarmasin and Banjar Regency is very vital, remembering thousands of drivers every day crossing the bridges body, plus the congestion that occurs during rush hour.
"The South Kalimantan Provincial Government has budgeted around Rp 20 billion for the construction of 3 bridges in the Sungai Lulut in 2019," he said.
This was conveyed by the number one person in the South Kalimantan Provincial Government in a pre-dawn meal (sahur) together and shared preaching in the Sungai Lulut, Banjarmasin, Saturday (11/5).
According to him, to be able to fulfill the aspirations of the community, collaboration between the provincial government, the city government of Banjarmasin and the Banjar district government is needed.
Head of the South Kalimantan PUPR Office, Roy Rizali Anwar, hopes that in July 2019 the physical construction of the bridges to be carried out with the condition of land acquisition have been done.
