Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Banjarmasin Health Agency noted seven people were attacked by dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF), till they had to be rushed to hospital throughout January 2019.
According to the head of the agency's Prevention of Disease Dr. Dwi Atmi, the victims of the aedes aegypti mosquito virus are mostly adults.
"Only one toddler is positive for dengue fever, but everything can be handled," she said.
According to Atmi, the handling of DHF can be carried out because of awareness to bring victims as soon as possible to the hospital, until they can be handled properly.
The areas affected by the spread of dengue were most in the East Banjarmasin, namely two sufferers in the Kuripan Sub-District.
"The rest victims are at Sungai Jingah, Kuin Raya, Teluk Dalam, Kelayan Timur and Pemurus," he said.
