Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Central Hulu Sungai (HST) Police have uncovered three cases of narcotics in just a day or 1x24 hours.
"With the synergy of police and the community, in one day three drug cases are revealed in HST," said HST Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Sabana Atmojo in Barabai on Thursday.
Of the three cases, two were cases of sabu-sabu with 17 packets of evidence weighing 4.33 grams. Another one is the Carnopen drug case.
First, the Drug Detective Unit (Satresnarkoba) on Tuesday (6/3) managed to catch the suspect MN (28) on Jalan Hevia, Barabai, with evidence of two packages of sabu-sabu weighing 0.51 grams.
Then from the development of the case, police arrested suspect A (30) in Bakti Village with 15 packets of sabu-sabu weighing 3.82 grams.
Not only sabu-sabu, from this suspect officers also found a box of drug Carnophen with the contents of 100 pills.
Also found a sharp weapon from the suspect until his case was processed by Crime Detective Unit (Satreskrim) using Emergency Law No. 12 of 1951.
Sabana thanked for the help of the community, till the drug circulation in HST can be revealed. He asked residents to immediately report to the resort police of HST or nearest police station if knowing there is drug distribution.
