Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of Banjarmasin Health Agency Anis Suroyo said one child recorded died from Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in 2018.
"One child died from dengue mosquitoes attacked that occurred in January, his domicile in West Banjarmasin," he said in Banjarmasin, Tuesday.
He said there were four cases of dengue in January, where one of them died. "The positive DBD is still a little, but the data of dengue fever (DD) or just have a high fever reached 90 cases from January to February," said Anis.
The agency, he said, has warned people to be wary of dengue mosquito attacks. It also invites people to live cleanly. In fact, Anis continued, it has spread the larvae annihilation powder to the community for free.
The results of this disease alertness, said Anis, in the field no more children or patient who entered the hospital or health center because of positive dengue.
"In this February DBD in our area is negative, but DD still exist," he explained.
