Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The joint unit of South Kalimantan Regional Police found two pills suspected of ecstasy in a nightspot, whose initial GD, on Jalan Pangeran Antasari, Banjarmasin.
"The findings of the alleged ecstasy will be lab checked to confirm its contents, including other evidence obtained during the raid," said Director of Drug Investigation Police Sr Comr Muhammad Firman here on Thursday.
The owner of the drug, AL (30), was still undergoing a thorough examination of the case for the development.
A total of 115 personnel were deployed in raids in some nightspots and family karaoke in Banjarmasin on Wednesday (27/9) night until Thursday morning.
The raid with drug circulation as the main target was led by Muhammad Firman and followed by drug police, internal affairs (Propam), mobile brigade (Brimob), quick response (sabhara), and health document (Dokkes) who conducted urine test on visitors.
The result was a visitor of one of the entertainment, MT (45), found positive containing benzoate (Carnophen drug).
Then in one of the karaoke, from 10 visitors who tested urine, two positive with benzoate.
Firman said, in addition to nightspots, the raids also targeted a number of areas where young people gather at night.
The result, in Taman Siring Jalan RE Martadinata in front of the office of mayor, the team secured one person AN (42), hiding four packages of sabu-sabu with a net weight of 11.88 grams.
Director of Drug Detectives said the raid was in a series of Operation called Antique Diamond 2017 which is now held to suppress the circulation of drugs until it can be eradicated by catching all dealers.
"I remind you once again we will take decisive action to the dealers, I command members not to hesitate to shoot, if they resist when secured," said Firman.
