Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarbaru Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Kelana Jaya threatened to fire a cop who approaches, let alone receiving money from, narcotics and dangerous drugs dealer.
"Do not approach, let alone to accept money from, drug dealers. If that happens and proven, then get ready for it, the sanction is dismissal," he said in Banjarbaru, Wednesday.
He said the threat is not kidding, because if there is an officer who receives money from the dealer who runs the illicit business of distributing drugs then the sanctions are severe.
He affirmed, the dismissal proposal will be sent immediately if any member of the police proven to receive money from the trade of illicit drugs either a lot or a few.
"My instruction to the whole range is very clear, do not mess with drugs, especially if there are members who want to receive money from drug dealers, I do not hesitate to fire," he said.
He insisted the instruction is also a warning for every member of the police in Banjarbaru not to get close to or directly involved in drug activity.
