Barabai, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Ratikita.id in collaboration with PT Balangan Coal provided learning and coaching for two reduce, reuse, and recycle waste processing sites (TPS3R), Kenanga Putih of Tundakan Village and Mutiara Baru from Paringin Timur Urban Village.
"We are trying to share our experience in managing a modern digital-based west bank, Ratikita.id, with the hope that community participation to increase," said Ratikita.id Director Mulyadi Saputra in Balangan, Thursday.
This program involved the literacy education and publication team of HST Environment and Land Office (DLHP), Sapta Mandiri University, west bank managers, village officials and village consultative body, residents of Tundakan Village and residents of Paringin Timur, and other invitees.

Two speakers from Ratikita.id gave description regarding the best practices on managing the first digital-based west bank in Kalimantan and already has thousands of customers in various regions.
Muliyadi Saputra explained the journey of establishing west bank since 2021 has gone through various dynamics, but it survives until now.
Commitment to environmental concern and empowering the surrounding community and giving waste management solution makes him consistent in continuing to run it.
"Even though collecting waste is sometimes considered dirty, but there is a fairly large economic turn over there, even we have a customer whose saving reaches tens millions," said Muliyadi who is also the Dean of Enginnering Faculty at Sapta Mandiri University.
Ratikita.id Digital Waste Bank has so far 6,929 customers from individuals, educational institutions, companies and government agencies from various regions.
CSR Represenetative of PT Balangan Coal Muhammad Luthfi said the company presented Ratikita.id team because it saw its struggle to stand independently, so it could be the right reference for TPS3R managers.
In carrying out its CSR, the company always strives to provide knowledge and empowerment to the community, especially to environmental managers.
"We really appreciate the residents who manage waste and waste bank, as well as those involve in TPS3R, for their contribution to the surrounding environment. Hopefully today's activities can be used to the greatest benefit," he concluded.
