Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Tanah Laut Deputy Regent H Muhammad Zazuli believes that the 124th TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) program is not just about building infrastructure, but also has an impact on improving the quality of life of the community.
“I am sure the presence of this program will bring great benefits,” he said as inspector of the ceremony at the opening of the 124th TMMD at UPTD SD Negeri Gunung Melati 1, Tuesday.
He underscored that the TNI's community service scheduled to last until June 4, 2025 is not only a real manifestation of synergy between TNI and regional government. But as a symbol of togetherness of state officials and the community in building villages and accelerating equitable development.

“On behalf of regional government, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the rank of TNI, especially the district military command Kodim 1009/Tanah Laut who have restarted the TMMD program in our region,” he said.
He invited the entire community to actively participate and maintain the results of the development later.
He said building is not enough just with physical, but also requires a spirit of togetherness, sense of belonging, and concern.
On that occasion, also attending were Chief of Staff of Military Resort Command (Kasrem) 101/Antasari Colonel Cavalry Soleh and Forkopimda (the district leadership communication forum) who together planted trees and handed over gifts to representatives of community in need.
The group then reviewed various supporting development, saw the location of infrastucture development, one of which was the paving of road connecting three villages, Gunung Melati, Bluru and Bumi Jaya.
