Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Regional Secretary of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, Eka Saprudin expressed highly appreciation to all participants of Bakti Pemuda Nusantara (BPN) or "the Kotabaru Hebat Archipelago Youth Service" for their real contribution to the community in Bungkukan Village.
The Secretary made his remarks as he closed the activity of the youth service in Bungkukan Village, Kelumpang Barat Sub-district.
“I expressed my highest appreciation to all participants of the Bakti Pemuda Nusantara who have carried out their community service and social work. Your presence has provided profound meaning, not only in the form of real work, but also in the spirit of unity, mutual cooperation (gotong royong), and values of diversity (kebhinekaan) that are strongly felt,” he said here on Tuesday.

He emphasized that the youth service demonstrated that Indonesian youth are agents of change, possessing strong fighting spirit, creativity, and high social emphaty.
The participants have become true inspiration to the community, especially younger generation in the village.
The Kotabaru government also expressed its gratitude to the community of Bungkukan Village for their warmly and homely welcome.
“This is the true face of Indonesia that accept, learn from and build upon each other,” he pointed out.
“By saying ‘Alhamdulillahirabbil’alamin’, I officially declare the Kotabaru Hebat Nusantara Youth Service closed,” concluded Eka Saprudin.
The BPN activities are the result of collaboration between the regional government, youth organizations, and local community, aim to instill the value of and strengthen unity amidst the nation's diversity.
Head of Kotabaru Tourism, Youth and Sports Office (Disparpora) Sony Tua Halomoan said the activities engaged 185 youth and ran from July 22 to 29, 2025.
The activities targeted five main domains: education, health and welfare, employment, participation and leadership, and gender inclusion.
