Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Kotabaru Communication and Informatic Office (Diskominfo) is improving internet network service to support digitalization program in rural areas.
Acting Head of Public Communication of the office Rindayani said this activity aims to ensure that every villagers has adequate access to government digital services and daily needs.
“We want to make sure that village internet service program runs optimally, and stable internet access in the foundation,” he said here on Friday.
The Diskominfo is said to collaborates with internet service provider and local village officials for this activity.
The results of the checks showed internet in Banua Lawas Village, Kelumpang Hulu Sub-district, was safe and good with no obstacles, but Karang Payau Village in Kelumpang Hulu Sub-district, was facing handicap, the internet connectivity was not yet optimal.
Diskominfo is committed to continuosly monitoring and improving the internet service quality as part of the regional digital transformation.
Meanwhile, the check include evaluating signal quality, access speed and identifying technical problems that hinder internet connection.
