Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Kotabaru Family Welfare Empowerment Mobilization Teams (TP-PKK) Chairwoman Suci Anisa attended 147th Kartini Day commemoration held by the Provincial Government of South Kalimantan at Mahligai Pancasila Building Banjarmasin, Monday (21/04/2025).
"The presence of Kotabaru TP-PKK Chairwoman at the 147th Kartini Day commemoration in Banjarmasin was a form of commitment and respect for the legacy of RA Kartini's struggle and important role of women in the development of Indonesia," she said in Kotabaru, Tuesday.
She hopes spirit and values of RA Kartini's struggle to remain alive in on every mother or Indonesian woman.

Acting Provincial Secretary Muhammad Syarifuddin in his remarks at the commemoration said that RA Kartini's struggle was so great that was able to elevate the status of Indonesian women.
"RA Kartini once said "HABIS GELAP, TERBITLAH TERANG" (From Dark Comes Light). This expression was not a poem, but a reflection of the fighting spirit of a woman who want progress, not only for helself, but for all her people, even her nation," he said.
"Today we revive the spirit, but in a differenct face. Today's Kartini is not only fighting for education right, or equality, but also fighting for family health starting from the smallest scope," he pointed out.
Women, he continued, are the pillars of the family, guardian of life, as well as edicators of the next generation.
"When women take a role in maintaining health in the family and environement, they actually saving the future of the nation," he concluded.
