Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan 17/4 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Female search officer at Class II B Amuntai Prison, Nina Noviyanti, thwarted sabu-sabu smuggling hidden inside a bracelet of a woman visitor.
"The woman wanted to visit her boyfriend, an inmate of drug case in Amuntai Prison," said HM Arsyad, a warden of Class II B Amuntai Prison, in Amuntai on Monday.
He recounted that from the first moment when entering the main enterance, the doorman Aris Ansyari had seen H's suspicious movements, like trying to hide the bracelet on her right hand.
Aris immediately gave the code to Nina, who served as a female search officer.
Nina was more suspicious when examined, H was not willing to release the bracelet.
The officer finally did a little action forcing the offender to immediately remove the bracelet from her hand.
After being removed and checked it was inside the back of the bracelet found a plastic package allegedly contained sabu-sabu.
"We are directly secured and handed over to Guard Commander Syaipul Buhari who then directly examined in the Security and Order (Kamtib) of Amuntai Prison," said head of prison.
Arsyad said, on the finding the Amuntai Prison directly contacted the North Hulu Sungai Resort Police.
After coordination, H along with the evidence of a package of sabu-sabu and DP, her boy friend, were taken to the police for further examination.
