Banjarmasin, S Kalimatan (ANTARA) - The joint SAR team have rescued 10 crews of TB Bina 208 ship which had an accident and sank in Tabuneo waters, Tanah Laut District, South Kalimantan Province.
Head os Sailing Safety, Guard and Patrol Division (KBPP) of the Banjarmasin Harbormaster Port Authority Office (KSOP) Germas here on Thursday said after receiving the information, his party immediately coordinated with Basarnas and related agencies to rescue the ship crews.
“The team has received data on the victims, there is already a joint team to rescue assisted by additional personnel to the location,” said Germas.
He said TB Bina 208 using Indonesian flag, YDA 4679 measuring 96 GT had an accident pricely at location30 43.226’ S/ 114025.305’ E, with Nirmawan Anmar as captain.
“The owner of the ship is PT Riandy Fiesta Samudera. In total there are 10 crew members. Chronology of the accident is still waiting for the minutes from the ship captain and the team handling it at the location,” he said.

Germas confirmed that the joint team with fast response had evacuated the victims using the TB Daniel ship.All crew members were confiremd safe and no fatalities. Tje joint officers also did not experience constraints during rescue.
However, he said, the ship was sinking, officers had not found any pollution to the marine environment caused by the ship;s cargo, nor have they found any loss to the victims' property.
Germas said currently his party together with the joint team carried out handling actions. Taboneo Port Control (IMPT), Polairud, and Basarnas were also involved.
“The cause of the accident is not yet known. Officers have gone to the location for further handling using KNP 382 as well as evacuating the victims from TB Daniel ship which first rescued the ship's crew,” said Germas.
