Banjarmasin, S Kalimatan (ANTARA) - Banjarmasin Public Polytechnic (Poliban), South Kalimantan, graduates as many as 978 graduates who were declared to have held competency certification.
Poliban Director Joni Riadi after the 2024 graduation at the Sultan Suriansyah Building, Banjarmasin, Wednesday (September 4, 2024), said that the hundreds graduates were divided into several study programs, one diploma two (D2), 11 diploma three (D3) and nine applied bachelor degrees.
All graduates after this, he said, must be able to apply their abilities according to their respective educational competencies, so they can compete in job markets.
He also said that from the data of this year's graduate, more than a hundred of them had already found work before graduating.
"Most of them get work during internship, because their performance and competence are good, so they are recruited by companies or industries," said Joni Riadi.
All students approaching final stage of education for graduation must first take a competency certification test.
So, he can assure that all students who graduate meet the requirements of the world of work.
He asked all graduates to continue maintain the good name of the campus and themselves when they return to society.
Everyone must be enthusiastic about achieving their aspiration to have a decent and independent life, thus giving pride to their families and their beloved campus.
"We always pray for them to be successful out there, remain honest and trusworthy," he said.
