Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 6/12 (AntaranewsKalsel) - A total of 105 members of the Banjarmasin City Police underwent urine tests to determine whether there is anyone indicated as a drug user or not.
"The urine test is a routine activity undertaken by the Banjarmasin Police," said Police Chief Kombes Pol Anjar Wicaksana Sik here on Tuesday.
Urine tests conducted after a morning ceremony on Tuesday, around 08.30 pm on the Banjarmasin City Police headquarters yard.
In addition to members of the City Police, the urine test sample also taken from other members, including officers, sector police chief, head of unit, and the head section, all underwent test urine.
"There are 400 names of members given to me, but I randomly select who those undergo urine test," he said.
Implementation of the activity was in cooperation with South Kalimantan Narcotics Agency (BNNP), Banjarmasin BNNK, as well as the Health Section of the Banjarmasin Police.
Middle-ranking officers graduated from Police Academy class of 1993 also said that there was one member of the police whose urine test was positive containing apetamine.
"Although contain apetamine he's not definitely taking drugs, so check over the substances where it came from," he said.
