Banjarmasin, S Kalimatan (ANTARA) - Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) adds to its list of Superior accrediation, after Masters (S2) Physical Education Program achieved this highest status.
"Congratulation to Physical Education Master Program that has just achieved Superior accreditation issued by the educational accreditation agency LAMDIK," said ULM Deputy Chancelor I for Academic Affairs Iwan Aflanie in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, Tuesday.
Iwan said the Superior accreditation, which is the highest grade of accreditatio, was obtained after undergoing series of assessment and field assessment by the LAMDIK team.
This status is valid for five year from 2024 to 2029 to guarantee the quality of an educational study program to continue to improve and adavance education in Indonesia.

"The Master's degree (S2) follows the Bachelor (S1) in Physical Education which was previously obtained Superior accreditation. So, students studying in this sport teacher producing study program is struly guaranteed the quality," Iwan expounded representing ULM Chancellor Professor Ahmad Alim Bachri.
He said the ULM's Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), which produces professional teachers, have obtained Superior accreditation in 11 of 21 undergraduate (S1) study programs.
In total there are 115 study programs at ULM consisting of 2 D3 programs, 66 S1, 25 S2, 6 professional programs, 9 docoral or S3 and 7 specialist programs. 34 of them are accreditated Superior or 29 percent and four are internationally accreditated or 3.48 percent.
"Currently ULM is conducting acceleration program to encourage study programs that have the potential to achieve Superior and International accrediation," he said.
