Batulicin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Tanah Bumbu District, South Kalimantan, has ranked the highest in investment realization in the province in the third quarter reached Rp4.86 trillion, an investment official informed.
"The achievement is the domestic investment (PMDN)," said Head of Tanah Bumbu Investment and One Stop Service Office (DPMPTSP) Andrianto Wicaksono in Batulicin, Monday.
He said that Tanah Bumbu DPMPTSP has just attended a meeting on the investment realization in South Kalimantan in Banjarbaru. Of all districts and cities in South Kalimantan, Tanah Bumbu was the highest in investment realization.
Based on the highlights of South Kalimantan investment in the third quater, during July to September 2023, the domestic investment reached 64.41 percent and 35.59 percent of foreign investment.
They covered 2,307 projects, consisted of 260 foreign investment projects and 2,047 domestic investment projects.
The highest foreign investment was in Kotabaru at Rp953.1 billion or 55.05 percent and the highest domestic investment in Tanah Bumbu was Rp1.85 trillion or 59.20 percent.

Wicaksono said, the main task of DPMPTSP is to realize the investment target seet by BKPM.
"The investment target for Tanah Bumbu in 2023 is Rp2.5 trillion, in the third quarter it has reached Rp5.8 trillion," he expounded.
By achieving the investment target, his sides optimistic that the Tanah Bumbu's economic growth will be better.
“Continuing economic growth will affect on increasing economy and employment opportunities. This will also be able to reduce unemployment and poverty rate in Tanah Bumbu," said Wicaksono.
