Ambon, Maluku (ANTARA) - Only four of seven illegal cinnabar miners have been found so far in a landslide on Mount Tambaga, Seram Bagian Barat district, Maluku province, a police official confirmed.
Chief of the Seram Bagian Barat District Police, Adjunct Senor Commissioner Dennie Andreas Dharmawan said that a landslide triggered by heavy rainfall buried seven illegal cinnabar miners.
"It is true they are illegal cinnabar miners there," he told ANTARA over the phone on Tuesday.

He said that two of miners found survived, but the two others died.
"One of the bodies of the two cinnabar miners was buried in Hulung and the other was taken to Ambon," he said.
A team of rescue workers is searching for three missing miners.
The victims were reportedly inside a tent when the landslide occurred.
