Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Public Works and Housing Ministry through the National Road Implementing Agency VII Kalimantan is developing Trisakti - Liang Anggang road to support the smooth traffic and the development of the Trisakti Port.
Head of National Road Implementing Agency (Balai Besar Pelaksanaan Jalan) VII Kalimantan Bastian Sihombing here on Monday said the construction of the access road Trisakti Port - Liang Anggang expected to be completed within the next three years.
According to him, the road along the 13 kilometers with the development budget amounting to Rp394 billion is expected to be the main line, the distribution of basic goods from the Trisakti Port to the public in South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan and East Kalimantan.
"The construction of access roads Trisakti - Liang Anggang is one of road construction project of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing," he said.
The access road, he added, aims to meet the needs of a lot of traffic from Trisakti direction, which is the largest port in South Kalimantan, to the various regions and the neighboring provinces.
Moreover, he added, such development to address the bottlenecks that often occur in the area.
Construction of the road, he added, carried out in four stages, namely the budget from 2015 to 2018.
