Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Transportation Ministry has adjudged Citilink as the airline with the best air transportation supervision and airworthiness this year.
President director of Citilink, Juliandra, said his team was chosen for the award from among 27 domestic and international airlines operating in Indonesia.
"This award is proof of Citilink's success in providing prime services to passengers by applying and prioritizing safety and security in every flight," he remarked in a written statement released here on Thursday.
The award assessment hinged on the aspect of air transportation supervision that encompasses services to passengers, tariffs, and compliance with government regulations as well as airworthiness, he said.
The aspect of airworthiness includes compliance and fulfillment of regulations and speedy follow-up on the integration portal system of the ministry's Directorate General of Air Transportation, he added.
