Batulicin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Tanah Bumbu District in South Kalimantan Province is seeing a decline in COVID-19 cases in the last few weeks.
"The report of the Tanah Bumbu COVID-19 Task Force shows that the number of patients treated in Andi Abdurahman Noor Hospital and Marina Hospital keeps decreasing and many have recovered," said Head of Health Agency Setia Budi in Batulicin, Wednesday.
From Sunday, September 19, 2021 bed occupancy rate (BOR) at both the hospitals was only 10 of the total 118 beds redied. It indicated that the cases were going down.
"Alhamdulillah only 10 are occupied, namely 5 at Marina Hospital and 5 at the Andi Abdurahman Noor Hospital," he said.
Setia Budi did not deny that there was an additional 13 confirmed cases bringing the total case to 5,936.
However, 5,589 patients were declared recovered, 66 people are still under treatment, but no report of death today. The total death recorded in the district was 281.
