Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - No workers rally in commemoration of the world Labor Day in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan.
"The situation and conditions of Banjarbaru safe, no rally performed by labors," said Chief Operating of Banjarbaru Police Commissioner Yakub here on Friday.
He explained, if workers or other parties want to implement activities involving many people then they have to notify to the police so that police can escort.
But the fact no trade union applied for rally. "Until Labor Day, we did not receive any notification, so we can be sure there is no labors rally," he said.
Although there is no demonstration by workers, but all members of the police force remains on alert, both Banjarbaru Resort Headquaters and five sector police in the city.
