Martapura, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Government of Banjar District received a grant of operational asset of state property (BMN) from the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing's Cipta Karya Directorate-General.
The receipt of the grant was signed by Banjar Regent Saidi Mansyur and Head of South Kalimantan Settlement Infrastructure Agency Dardjat Widjunarso here on Wednesday, and witnessed by the District Secretary M Hilman, Head of Settlement Agency Mursal, and online by Cipta Karya Director-General Diana Kusumastuti.
According to the director-general, since the issuance of Presidential Decree No.17 of 2007 on controlling state property, almost all ministries, institutions, and local governments have focused their attention on improving the governance of regional property.
"Improving and controlling state property governance has a positive correlation for ministries, institutions, and local governments to win an unqualified opinion (WTP) from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK)," she said.

The granted state property (BMN) with total proceeds of IDR72.22 billion is used in various activities, including drinking water infrastructure, sanitation infrastructure, residential are arrangement and green open space (RTH) at the Demang Lehman Stadium Martapura.
"We hope Banjar government to optimally utilize and most importantly to maintain the BMN, so that the target of improving PUPR services can be achieved," she said.
Regent Saidi Mansyur expressed his gratitude to the director-general and hoped the grant to be optimized in accordance with the interest of public use.
