Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Cement producer PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa in Tarjun, Kotabaru District, South Kalimantan, gives a support to the Lowo Cave attraction in its fostered village to boost it to be tourist destination.
H. Teguh Iman Basoeki of the Indocement management said, the company continues to give its support for the progress of sustainable development, especially for community of its partner villages in Kotabaru District.
"We are very appreciative of the potential of Lowo cave which is in the development stage by providing its supporting infrastructure facilities," Teguh said, Thursday (June 25, 2020).
He explained that starting 2019 the management has help promoting this tourism potential and responded positively by the local community until the Lowo Cave became what it is now.
"It is clear that such local potential must be developed, in addition to provide positive value for the region, it will improve the community's economy," Teguh said.

Chief of Tegalrejo Village Afifudin acknowledgged, it can be seen now that the condition ofLowo Cavefor the Indocement's concern in providing assistance in order to beautify the attraction.
According to him, the potential of Lowo Cave is very promosing to be developed, and its management will be carried out by the local community through the village-owned enterprise (BUMdes) and tourism awareness group (pokdarwis).
Chairperson of the Tegalrejo Pokdarwis H. Rafi said, a Tiga Roda cement replica will be put at the main entrance of the attraction.
"Currently we are preparing outbond facilities, such as flying fox, bridges from ropes, and many more. Hopefully Lowo Cave become one of the tourist destination," he said.
"In additon to Lowo Cave, we still have a lot of potentials, such as a playground in Mandala Village, Sembilan Bidadari (Nine Angels) waterfall in Sahapi Village, agro-tourism in Telagasari Village and Pulau Panci (Pan island), and certainly the mangrove forest eco-tourism in Langadai Village," said the Head of Kelumpang Hilir Sub-district Johanuddin.
The location of Lowo Cave is about two kilometers from the Trans Kalimantan road in the Tegal Rejo Village with faily smooth access.
