Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Adaro MetCoal (AMC) continues to play its role in supporting the fight against coronavirus in Central Kalimantan, one of which by aiding the Regional Hospital of dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya with medical equipment.
Two ventilators handed over by AMC's Government Relation Ramon Ramba Akob to Director of the dr Doris Sylvanusl Hospital drg Yayu Indriati, who was accompanied by board of directors, Thursday (June 25, 2020).
Ramon Ramba Akob said the assistance in the form of two ventilators machines is expected to help the Central Kalimantan government, especially Doris Sylvanus Hospital, in combating the COVID-19 outbreak.
“This ventilator is a form of support from Adaro in handling COVID-19 in Palangkaraya," Ramon explained.

Adaro, he said, always committed to helping the Provincial Government of Central Kalimantan in preventing the spread of the pandemic virus.
The hospital director Yayu Indriati thanked Adaro and said the two ventilator machines were indeed needed in the treatment of COVID-19 patients.
“This ventilator will be used in the isolation room to treat corona-infected patients with critical criteria," she explained.
As for positive patients who experience respiratory failure will be helped with airway therapy and mechanical breathing aids.
Currently the Doris Hospital has 10 beds equipped with ventilators, but there are reserves of four rooms to be used as intensive rooms if the community need.
