Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Adaro Metcoal (AMC) regular undergraduate (S1) scholarship recipients took part in soft skills development training through Adaro Ignites Education or “Adaro Nyalakan Ilmu” program to enhance human resources (HR) skills.
PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia (AMI) organized the activity, which was targeting the Indonesia Bright Future Leaders (IBFL) program recipients, into two batches, training on self-confidence and on actualization of self-potential.
AMI Community Development Supervisor Maria Adisti here on Thursday (Oct 3, 2024), said this training was to equip them to be better prepared to face challanges on campus and at work.
"We hope through this training the students will be more prepared and confident in achieving their dreams," said Maria.

As the world of education continues to develop and competition becomes increasingly fierce, said Maria, students need to have soft skills they need during stuying or working.
Soft skills that are essential for new students entering college are self-confidence.
"Strong self-confidence wil be the main asset in facing future challanges and winning a success in their career," she said.
Recipients of AMC S1 scholarship were outstanding students from underprivileged families studying at various universities in South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, Yogyakarta and Jakarta.
There are now 69 students who received the regular undergraduate scholarship program from 2018 to 2024 from ring one AMC's operational areas in Murung Raya District, Central Kalimantan.
One of the recipients, Ahmad Eko Nugroho, who studies at University of Palangka Raya, acknowledged that tthis training has increased his insight and experience.
“From this training we can build self-confidence to be able to achieve the desired goals," he said.
