"About 8.000 catfish seedlings are stocked. The seedlings are aids from PT Borneo Indo Bara (BIB) through CSR funds to support the local government program to fulfill the food need of poor people living in the rainbow complex," the regent said in Batulicin, Monday.
In addition to stocking catfish seedling, he said, the government handed over fish feed until harvest.
"I thank PT BIB for giving their attention to the residents of underprivileged housing complex by providing catfish seeds and their feed," he said.

One representative from PT BIB Silvina said, the provision of catfish seedlings and feed was solely to help residents living in the complex.
"We strongly support the government program on food security for underprivileged. We want to synergize by providing fish seeds, so the residents can develop this business to become their fixed income," Silvina said.
In the future, the company will also develop home industry in the complex in order to boost the economy of its people.
"Our hope, by fulfilling their food security needs will help them to be independent households, as all their needs are availabe in the housing complex," she concluded.
