Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Hundreds of residents of Banjarmasin City received pre-employment cards, which is part of the central government program in alleviating proverty and unemployment. Here inserted various programs of training and skill to enter workforce.
The cards were handed over by BNI Banjarmasin to participants who succesfully passed the selection, while being witnessed by Banjarmasin Mayor H Ibnu Sina and Acting Head of Cooperative, SME, and Labor Office Ir Doyo Pudjadi at the City Hall, Wednesday (May 20, 2020).
"Today I am very happy because of the pre-employment card program from the central government. There are 710 pre-employment card handed over today," H Ibnu Sina said.
He was relieved as a number of his resident, who had just experienced terminations or being laid off, were able to take part in the program which was very useful in supporting their daily needs.
"Hopefully this will benefit, especially for residents who have been terminated or laid off and job seekers who have no job yet," he hoped.
Head of BNI Banjarmasin branch Jodhy A Wardhana said, the pre-employment card is a work competency development program for job seekers, workers/laborers effected by termination of employment, and or workers/laborers who need competency improvement.
To participate in the program, he said, you must register on the official site www.prakerja.go.id and there will be approval from PMO. If approved as a participant, training incentives and survey money will be paid through BNI account or OVO or Link Aja. Payments are made after the training or courses.
