Jakarta (ANTARA) - The State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Ministry appealed to the public to not believe in false information circulating that the ministry will take legal measure over an aspersion of Minister Erick Thohir, an official stated on Monday.
"The news that the Ministry of SOEs will file a legal accusation is false, a hoax," Head of Public Relations and Protocol of the ministry, Ferry Andrianto, confirmed in a statement.
All information pertaining to the minister and vice minister activities as well as other officials is always issued by the ministry through some official channels and publications and "not in the randomly spread-over chain messages."

"In today's situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, when all the elements of the ministry are struggling to fight the disease, the Ministry of SOEs deplores this act of spreading hoax and provocative message," Andrianto emphasized.
