Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The District Government of Tabalong continues to boost development in health sector by increasing service facilities for people, one of which is the construction of primary hospital in Pudak Setegal Village, Kelua Sub-district.
Regent of Tabalong Anang Syakhfiani said this D-class hospital will be the center of health service in the southern area. "The Keluar Community Health Center (Puskesmas) continues to serve inpatient, while the new hospital will become the center in South," Anang remarked.
By using the 2020 budget, Anang targets the new hospital to be completed in 2022.
While the access road to the hospital between Takulat-Baco will be paved by the Public Works and Spatial Agency (PUPR).

Head of the Tabalong Health Agency Taufikurahman said the primary hospital to prepare a minimum of 40-50 beds for inpatient. "We also will renovate the old hospital to D-class, in order patients are not concentrated in Maburai," Taufik pointed out.

The groundbreaking ceremony of the Kelua Hospital was attended by the Legislative Council (DPRD) Speaker Mustafa, Commander of 1008/Tanjung Military Command Lt.Col. Arm. Eddy Susanto, Prosecutor's Office official, religious figure and council members in south area.
