Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (Hipmi) chairman Mardani H Maming challanged Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) students to open business by offering them IDR10 million as assistance.
He came to ULM on the "HIPMI Goes To Campus" event, Wednesday (Nov 7, 2019). Here he shared some experiences and gave them some motivation.
"Hopefully with the offer of IDR10 million for each person it will arouse them to open business to find their success as a big entrepreneurs in future," he remarked after the event at the General Building Student Activity Center ULM.
The presence of Hipmi chairman, whose origin is South Kalimantan, was to select 10 out of 20 business proposal to assist them with a capital of IDR10 million each.
"Actually the IDR10 million is only a booster. I want to see the students seriousness to open business and their perserverence to strive to grow," the alumnus of ULM's Law Faculty pointed out.

The former Regent of Tanah Bumbu is indeed has a commitment and a high concern to business develoment. He have been helping many new entrepreneurs and providing them venture capital through MHM Official in its program to create new entrepreneurs among young people.
One of them who successful, as Mardani told in the Hipmi Goes to Campus, was Oka Wahyudi, a young farmer with a revenue of millions rupiah from hydroponics farming he developed.

Mardani reminded that business is not merely about capital. What more important is a strong determination to never give up, until somebody will become a strong businessman who keep growing forward.

"If everybody wants to be civil servant of course it is a burden for the country. But if you become entrepreneur no matter how small your business, you will be independent and even open up jobs for others. As a result this will help the government from the sector of economic development," said the former chairman of the Regency Administrations Association (APKASI).
