The existance of cement factory PT Conch South Kalimantan in Saradang Village, Haruai Sub-district, Tabalong, turned out to attract coal entrepreneurs from outside to invest in this region.
The result was coal mining and transportation around the location of the cement factory increasingly widespread.

So far, Chief of Saradang Village Tajuddin Noor admitted, only PT Bara Pramulya Abadi is officially operating here to supply PT Conch. "Thanksgiving was held yesterday and the first transportation of coal by PT Bara Pramulya Abadi (BPA)," he told.
PT BPA, Tajuddin revealed, hold the PKPB (Coal Mining Work Agreement) permit and the only company operating in his village. "This time only one company operating in Saradang Village, other companies are in neighbor villages," he explained.

Meanwhile, PT BPA produced coal to supply the need of coal-fired power plant (PLTU) of PT Conch South Kalimantan. It 10,000 ton per month gives a positive impact as an income for the village through it BUMDes (village-owned enterprises).
"BUMDes gets a share of managing 30 units of coal transportation and it become an income for the village," Tajuddin said.
Meanwhile, representative of PT BPA Erwin said at the thanksgiving event that the company prioritises local workers to support local people welfare in the field of economy, education, and social.
