The Tanah Bumbu administration keeps making various improvement to its touris object facilities on its way to develop them as national, even international level, tourist destinations.
Head of the Tanah Bumbu Youth, Sport and Tourism Agency Hamaluddin here on Wednesday detailed the attractions now being developed are Angsana Beach, Rindu Alam Beach, and Liang Bangkai Cave.
"To support the program, the district government has set an expenditure of IDR4 billions from 2019 local budget (APBD) and special allocation funds (DAK)," he remarked.
Indeed, he acknowledged, it actually need a big budget to develop a global level tourist destinations. However, with limited fund, the district government will prioritize the more importantly development according to the instruction of provincial government.
For this year, the fund is focus to improve some infratructure such as making stage, to build plaza or place of sale, and place or worship at the objects of tourism.
The discourse to develop global level tourist destination will become the commitment of the Tanah Bumbu in which in the future the object of tourism will become its source of locally generated revenue (PAD) to replace the coal mining business.
"We continue to prepare strategic programs to realize international tourist destinations including completing several requirements to be submitted to international tourism organizations according to the potential of resources in Tanah Bumbu," he said.
Many things must be completed as a global tourist destination, including to have a printed media as information service, regular transportation mode, integrated transportation mode, multi-language road signs, and so on.
Tanah Bumbu, he said, has set a target by 2025 the program would be running and at least be a national tourist destination.
