Batulicin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Pulau Burung or Bird Island, a natural object of tourism in Simpang Empat Subdistrict, Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan, began to be crowded by hundreds of tourists.
"The average number of visitors on the tour holidays is hundreds," said one visitor to Bird Island Eko Mardianto in Batulicin, Sunday.
According to him, Bird Island has its own uniqueness compared to other natural attractions in Tanah Bumbu.
"I deliberately took time to come to these attractions with my family on holidays because of the beauty of the cool mangrove forest and the beaches are still natural, besides the location is not too far from where I live," he said.
Bird Island is a tourist attraction in the middle of the sea, inside there is a very shady mangrove forest and is equipped with several supporting facilities, such as a gazebo.
To get to the location, visitors must cross in a small boat that has a capacity of 15 passengers. While the distance to the location is around 15 minutes.
The fare for a round trip passenger is Rp40,000/person, but upon arrival at the tourist attraction visitors are no longer charged a fee because it is already a package with the price of a boat ticket.

According to Eko, the tourist attraction is very suitable for tourists who want to enjoy the beauty of mangrove forests, because visitors can also enjoy the beauty of the forest and the sea together.
