The Indonesian National Food and Drug Authority's Data and Information Center (Pusdatin BPOM) has visited the South Kalimantan Communication and Informatics Office (Diskominfo) to discuss cyber security.
Head of ICT Security of the agency's Data and Information Center Wina Budiwardani was welcomed by the office's Head of Encryption and Information Security Sucilianita Akbar and Head of Applications and Telematics Dadang Sugian Noor in Banjarbaru, Friday (25/10).
Staff of the office's Encryption and Information Security as well as representatives of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) were also attended the meeting.
Wina Budiwardani said that her side and BSSN took the initiative to visit South Kalimantan Diskominfo to build collaboration, especially in cyber security through Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT).
“The initial aim of our visit is to build collaboration with local government, especialy South Kalimantan's CSIRT,” Wina said.
She disclosed that BSSN recommended BPOM to visit South Kalimantan, which manages CSIRT quite well.
Wina acknowledged that many things obtained from the visit to South Kalimantan regarding CSRIT management, including team management involving technicians team in the regional technical implementation unit (UPTD).
“There is new thing that we can adopt directly, namely the involvement of technical team at BPOM technical implementation unit (UPT),” said Wina.
From the results of this visit, Wina plans to invite allUPT colleagues at BPOM to collaborate as information security agents.
