South Kalimantan Office of National Land Agency (BPN) is in the top five nationally for the highest achievement in issuing land rights (SHAT) through the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program throuhgout 2024.

"We have issued 44,141 SHAT with an achievement of 81.87 percent from the target of 53,936 making South Kalimantan BPN enter the top five nationally," said Head of BPN for South Kalimantan Office Abdul Azis in Banjarbaru, Tuesday.

Abdul Azis, who was met after chairing the 2024 Agrarian and Spatial Planning Day (HANTARU), said he was optimistic to achieve the target by the end of October.

The accelerated performance, he said, was the attention of the Minister of Agrarian and spatial Planning (ATR)/Head of BPN Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) who insisted on continuing to work to meet the community expectations.

Moreover, President Joko Widodo has ordered that by 2025 all land are mapped already.

Meanwhile, the legalization of target asset from the ministry itself has been achieved.

"For land plot map it has reached 100 percent, while the achievement of electronic certificate issuance is also significant around 68 percent," Abdul Azis explained.

He hopes that people continue to support ATR Ministry/BPN's program by utilizing PTSL program or free land certification aiming to provide legal certainty for land owners.

Abdul Azis emphasized that obtaining certificate is easy if it fulfill five conditions, namely there must be a land, clear boundaries and dimensions, there must be proof of ownership, no disputes, and administration fees are paid off.

"Legalization of land is to prevent land disputes, because most disputes because the land has not been electronically defined by BPN," he expounded.
